Summer Figure Workshop

These pieces are some of the drawings done during the Santa Cruz Art League Summer of 2015 figure drawing course. Being around so many incredible artists for weeks was frustrating at first, each and every one of them was so much more talented and experienced than myself, and it began to eat at my ego a bit. More and more I realized that it was only time that separated us, time of practice, experience, training. All of them encouraged me to keep at it, to keep working at my craft, and I plan to honor their charge.
